01 / Background

Clinical training.
An athlete’s perspective.

Dr. Oddo earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors from Wesleyan University, where he served as captain of the 2012 New England Wrestling Association Champion wrestling team. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic Magna Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College in 2015.

An evidence-oriented practitioner, Dr. Oddo’s continuing education includes joint mobilizations, soft tissue manipulation, rehabilitative exercise, diagnostic ultrasound, gait analysis and correction, ergonomics assessment, manipulation under anesthesia, and principles of loaded movement. He is also an adjunct professor and continuing education instructor at Northeast College of Health Sciences.

03 / Treatment expertise

Shockwave therapy.
Part of a complete plan.

Dr. Oddo also leads shockwave therapy at West Hills. He brings more than a decade of clinical shockwave experience to the practice — using focused shockwave as a precision tool within a complete treatment approach that combines manual therapy, movement-based rehab, and corrective exercise. He has helped patients at every level resolve stubborn tendon and soft-tissue conditions that haven’t responded to other care, including plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, Achilles tendinopathy, rotator cuff issues, and patellar tendinopathy. For patients recovering from surgery, Dr. Oddo provides targeted scar tissue work to help restore the range of motion and pain-free function that post-surgical recovery often leaves incomplete.

04 / Teaching & writing

Beyond the
treatment room.

Dr. Oddo is the author of The Myth of the Standing Desk — a book that debunks common ergonomics myths and provides science-backed strategies for physical health in the digital age. At West Hills, he leads sports rehabilitation, return-to-play programs, and ergonomic assessments for active patients and athletes.
